Windpark Fryslân

I was engineering lead from early development until the end of construction of Windpark Fryslân, the largest wind park in a lake in the world. During the project, we published many vlogs and clips.

The project's design was optimized for nature and landscape first, and only then for output.

During the contracting, engineering and construction phases, I was Electrical Works Package Manager for wind turbines, onshore electrical infrastructure and grid connection.

The E-126 7.58 MW was the most powerful onshore wind turbine in the Netherlands until the installation of the Haliade-X prototype in 2020.

Sheringham Shoal was Equinor's first large offshore wind project.
